Nalick left her label under Sony in 2009 after an argument over the release of her sophomore album. The singer-songwriter released her first Studio album Wreck of the Day featuring her debut hit song Breathe 2AM with Sony/Columbia in the year 2004. The album shot into the top spot on the charts, and took Nalick on a nearly five-year tour around the world.
